first rivets I made



Riveting is not something you can do blindfolded, I suppose you can if you are blind and you get really good at it...
I tried making a rivet with rebar wire... not the same as when you are using copper wire. No sir eee.
I need to practice my riveting. Yeah for cold connections... Boo for Glue

Lost Duck has a home

 This Northern Pintail Duck has been stranded in a pond for many months.  We don't know if he suffered a traumatic injury or is unable to fly, but he never left the pond when the weather turned and the other Ducks and Geese moved on. He would swim around the pond quacking a lot.    The Duck was rescued by a kind woman and is now living on a farm amongst Turkeys, Chickens, Ducks and Geese ,and has access to a heated barn! The people responsible for the rescue are going to be featured on the local TV news.
