those damn fake deers drive me crazy

We live in a rural county. Why do people insist on placing fake deer on their property? Is it to attract other deer so they can shoot the real deers?
Just one of my pet peeves. I know some of the locations by heart... They seem to put a pair of them on the lawn together... Why not just one deer, oh no, lets put two of those fake suckers on our lawn to be doubly cool.
Ok, rant is over.
We had a great Passover. Woodstock and the Grateful Dead was the theme... It was too much fun.
