Yellow Birds

I saw a lot of these yellow
birds eating the berries on
the grounds of the resort
we stayed at in Cancun Mexico.

They sort of resemble Baltimore
orioles


I also saw a baby deer.
 I just looked up and there he
was.
I froze.
No, I did not take a picture.
Yes, I had the camera in
my hand.

He instinctly moved back into
the wooded area...

Lost Duck has a home

 This Northern Pintail Duck has been stranded in a pond for many months.  We don't know if he suffered a traumatic injury or is unable to fly, but he never left the pond when the weather turned and the other Ducks and Geese moved on. He would swim around the pond quacking a lot.    The Duck was rescued by a kind woman and is now living on a farm amongst Turkeys, Chickens, Ducks and Geese ,and has access to a heated barn! The people responsible for the rescue are going to be featured on the local TV news.
