This must be one of the coldest summer seasons in history.. It has not stopped the mosquitos one bit. We cannot enjoy the property without spraying ourselves with DEET from head to toe. I will be venturing into the barn to shed stuff once it warms up.

Riveting is not something you can do blindfolded, I suppose you can if you are blind and you get really good at it... I tried making a rivet with rebar wire... not the same as when you are using copper wire. No sir eee. I need to practice my riveting. Yeah for cold connections... Boo for Glue

This is the room where Stephen King wrote "The Shining". The TV movie was filmed there, the Stanley Kubrick Movie was not filmed there.

We stopped to get some food in a little Hippy town just outside of Estes Park when we arrived in Colorado. The Subway Sandwich Shop was closed, but I found this cool painted bus.

Can you imagine getting a red face just sitting at a table at an outdoor resteraunt? i did not put any sunscreen on and came home with a red nose and cheeks. Funny. Once I get back to my own computer, I will post photos. It is beautiful here. I really enjoy the mountains.
