Roswell




Frank went to Roswell NM for business. I wanted to go with him, it did not work out. I asked him to take some photos for me. He said the gift store was better than the museum. Boy do I agree with this statement. I love museum giftstores anyway, who doesn't?

Our first bit of cold weather. Ah, the sun is shining, so all is well. Just have to stay warm.

Lost Duck has a home

 This Northern Pintail Duck has been stranded in a pond for many months.  We don't know if he suffered a traumatic injury or is unable to fly, but he never left the pond when the weather turned and the other Ducks and Geese moved on. He would swim around the pond quacking a lot.    The Duck was rescued by a kind woman and is now living on a farm amongst Turkeys, Chickens, Ducks and Geese ,and has access to a heated barn! The people responsible for the rescue are going to be featured on the local TV news.
