I can always find a little treasure when I go to Madison. This little guy was broken and repaired,so he cost a whopping 75cents.

He will be under the cloche in a place of honor until I replace him with another interesting item to look at.

Lost Duck has a home

 This Northern Pintail Duck has been stranded in a pond for many months.  We don't know if he suffered a traumatic injury or is unable to fly, but he never left the pond when the weather turned and the other Ducks and Geese moved on. He would swim around the pond quacking a lot.    The Duck was rescued by a kind woman and is now living on a farm amongst Turkeys, Chickens, Ducks and Geese ,and has access to a heated barn! The people responsible for the rescue are going to be featured on the local TV news.
