howie in gordy's bed?

 


I was looking to take Howie for a walk and could not find him.... He was not in his usual spots... I went back upstairs to our bedroom and I looked down and there was our HOW in GORDO'S bed!!! I have never seen him in there... I had to take a photograph just to document the fact. I moved the bed into our bedroom for Gordy so he could sleep at the foot of our bed while Sara was in the guestroom. I forgot to move the bed back into the guestroom.

Who knew?

On another note, Howie slipped out of his leash again!!! We are back to the leash around the neck.

 This Northern Pintail Duck has been stranded in a pond for many months.  We don't know if he suffered a traumatic injury or is unable to fly, but he never left the pond when the weather turned and the other Ducks and Geese moved on. He would swim around the pond quacking a lot.    The Duck was rescued by a kind woman and is now living on a farm amongst Turkeys, Chickens, Ducks and Geese ,and has access to a heated barn! The people responsible for the rescue are going to be featured on the local TV news.
