allergy alert

Image
I've been overwhelmed by allergy and back problems this week.   This is the last of the student art photos I took.  I wish I could fit inside the box right now.  Going back to bed again.

Last year a late frost killed most of the flowers. This year,  I was hoping for good weather so I could enjoy the beautiful flowers.

Art exhibit continued

Since I took these photographs, more pieces were added.  I don't know how long the exhibit is going on, but it is worthwhile to see the student's work.

Image
the local college is exhibiting jr high and high school art.  I took shots of some of the interesting pieces.  I thought to myself what talent these young people possess..... what a great time to make art.  Wish I started younger.

The bunny who never leaves

This is the cement bunny who lives on the back porch.  He guards the house.

The big woodpecker returns

Image
This is the big woodpecker who comes to the birdfeeders. He is actually pretty big, but I shot him from 30 feet away, so I did the best I could. He is very skitish. He did not get to be this size because he's careless. I hope to get a better photo of him later in the summer.
